Job Duties:

1. 1. Responsible for design and developing software applications solutions using Agile/Waterfall methodologies and participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

1. 2. Collaborate with product managers, analysts and architects to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions consistent with the business objective.

1. 3. Software Application development using Advanced Oracle PL/SQL code (Advanced Queues, Packages, Bulk loading/binding, Collections, Materialized views, Triggers, etc.), Oracle APEX, Web Services, SODA and ORDS (Oracle Rest Data Services).

1. 4. Build a Cloud based Data lake with real time integration using Oracle Advanced Queues.

1. 5. Design and build applications as per requirements using Oracle APEX, Advanced PL/SQL and Analytical SQL. And implement appropriate error handling techniques to address runtime issues.

1. 6. Design and build service oriented architecture using Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS) and to build JSON Data store with SODA APIs.

1. 7. Design Oracle APEX screens with extensive customizing using JavaScript, JQuery, HTML and CSS coding.

1. 8. Create multidimensional data models and build an on premise Oracle Data Store (ODS), and enable RESTful web services to serve external Cloud application requests.

1. 9. Plan and Develop Discoverer business dashboards to run analytics and to guide business with trend analysis and data insights.

1. 10. Write Shell scripts on UNIX/Windows to automate data loads, integrations and SSIS transformations.

1. 11. Oracle APEX database installation, configure Standby database for analytical reporting and troubleshooting.

1. 12. Implement Database security and compliance and integration of APEX with SSO.

1. 13. Creating Complex PL/SQL structures to ensure secure data flow in Oracle APEX screens.

1. 14. Plan and automate storage of Oracle data file using Oracle ASM.

1. 15. Build a robust backup, rollback strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) with Oracle Data Guard and standby databases.

1. 16. Conform to best coding practices of Oracle 12c or higher standards, create system, software and functional design specifications that address requirements and being part of code reviews, software deployments and regression tests to assure the quality.

1. 17. Identifying, Prioritizing software enhancements and tracking bugs arise during the development life cycle using project management tools like Rally and Jira.

1. 18. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

1. 19. Participate in Application owner and Business User interviews to identify system functions and architectural and network related dependencies.

20. Building a failover solution for Enterprise Application using data guard and fault tolerance system using RMAN and Oracle ASM.

Travel Requirements
1. Travel: The only travel required is when the Applicant relocates to unanticipated client
2. Relocation: Must be able to relocate to unanticipated client locations anywhere in the U.S. for long-term assignments.

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or closely related subject matter.

Experience:
60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Sr. Programmer Analyst or closely related occupation.
Out of 60 months’ experience, at least 36 months of experience to include experience in:
1. Developing of RESTful Web services, RPC using advanced PL/SQL and enable APIs for JSON Document Store (SODA).
2. Coding UNIX shell scripts to automate the SSIS transformations, data processing and deploy on RedHat or similar environment.
3. Building a failover solution for Enterprise Application using data guard and fault tolerance system using RMAN and Oracle ASM.

Working Hours:
• Number of hours per week: 40
• Daily Work Schedule: Mon to Fri 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
