1. Study Client’s business process and gather information from users to ascertain the needs and requirements of computer applications;
2. Work on the evaluation of technical feasibility, risk assessment and requirements change management;
3. Study different approaches in developing software solutions;
4. Assisting in conceptualizing, designing and developing Desktop Applications, Client/Server systems, Web Applications, Windows Services, Web Services and Software Solutions;
5. Working experience on Cloud services like AWS
6. Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
7. Developing applications using technologies like JAVA, Hibernate, Web Services simultaneously along with frontend technologies JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 and backend technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL and Sybase.
8. Dev Ops implementation using open stack technologies like Jenkins
9. Programming in one or more modern programming language like Java, Python, Java, J2EE, Hibernate ORM Mapping, Spring MVC, Angular2, Objective C, and C++.
10. Develop Java based applications using Hibernate ORM Mapping to persist data objects to PostgreSQL database.
11. Developing Web Services (SOAP, RESTful web services) by handling requests and responses by using GET and POST methods to manipulate the data.
12. Understand project expectations as communicated by the client and effectively communicate when issues/events may affect deadlines/deliverables of the project
13. Coordinate with business analysts, and other programmers to assist in resolving problems with software systems.
14. Perform Unit and Integration testing on the application using various testing methodologies.
15. Participate in determination of the scope of a development project.
16. Participating in operational reviews to identify and define opportunities to improve systems, services, and processes.
17. Work on Groovy Scripts to retrieve the data from one database and in-turn write to another database.
18. Develop various AWS Lambda functions like Create, Read, Update and Delete operations that can be called from the groovy scripts to write/update data to the PostgreSQL.

Travel
The only travel required is when the Applicant relocates to unanticipated client locations anywhere in the U.S. for long-term assignments

Education
U.S. Master of Science degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Network Communications or closely related field.

Experience
1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer. Experience to include, 1 year of experience in the following:
• Technologies: PostgreSQL database, Hibernate ORM Mapping, SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Use GET and POST methods to retrieve data
• Develop the User Interface (UI) for web application using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX
